Fundamental tools training for different engineering streams at MPGI

MPGI has developed specialized training modules for the engineering streams – Computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics and Communications and Mechanical and Civil. Computer Training Modules

C++: C++ is a general-purpose programming language created by Bjarne Stroustrup as an extension of the C programming language, or -C with Classes

JAVA: Java is a general-purpose programming language that is class-based, object-oriented, and designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible.

Dot NET: Dot NET Framework is a software framework developed by Microsoft that runs primarily on Microsoft Windows. It includes a large class library named as Framework Class Library and provides language interoperability across several programming languages.

ANDROID: Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google. It is based on a modified version of the Linux kernel and other open source software and is designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as a Smartphone and Tablet.

iOS: It is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple Inc. exclusively for its hardware It is the operating system that presently powers many of the company’s mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. It is the second most popular mobile operating system globally after Android

PYTHON: Python is an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language. Created by Guido van Rossum and first released in 1991, Python’s design philosophy emphasizes code readability with its notable use of significant whitespace.

Electronics and Communication Training

Embedded Systems: An Embedded System is a controller with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system, often with real-time computing constraints. It is embedded as part of a complete device often including hardware and mechanical parts. Embedded systems control many devices in common use today.

MATLAB: It is a multi-paradigm numerical computing environment and proprietary programming language developed by MathWorks.

Robotics: Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. These technologies are used to develop machines that can substitute for humans and replicate human actions.

Mechanical and Civil Training

AutoCAD: AutoCAD is a commercial computer-aided design and drafting software application. Developed and marketed by Autodesk, AutoCAD was first released in December 1982 as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers.

SolidWorks: SolidWorks is a solid modelling computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering computer program that runs on Microsoft Windows. SolidWorks is published by Dassault Systems.

Creo: Creo is a family or suite of Computer-aided design apps supporting product design for discrete manufacturers and is developed by PTC. The suite consists of apps, each delivering a distinct set of capabilities fora user role within product development.
