Maharana Pratap Group has introduced B.Sc. Agriculture Education as an initiative to provide to the society with adequately trained scientific human resources capable of carrying out teaching, research and transfer of agricultural technology activities. More than 60% of the population in India lives in rural areas and engaged in diverse farm and non-farm activities.
In view of the above, the course curricula of B.Sc. Agriculture has been restructured to develop much-needed skills and entrepreneurial mindset among the Graduates to take up self-employment to contribute to the enhanced rural livelihood and food security, sustainability of agriculture and be a propeller for agricultural transformation.
Eligibility criteria for admission in B.Sc. Agriculture requires completion of 10+2 (PCB/PCM) with 50% marks. The course is divided into 8 semesters. The four-year program aims to provide knowledge, practical skills and competencies in agriculture. This degree prepares students for a wide range of careers related to the agriculture industry and other allied industries.
B.Sc. Agriculture Graduate can be hired as Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) and Block Development Officers (BDO).
